Allison
Being a student of Rhythm Identity, her passion and dedication to salsa has made her rise above her peers and she is now both an assistant instructor for Rhythm Identity as well as performer for Salsa X Productions.
In less than a year, she has already taken up the reins of performer and has performed for numerous occasions and events. True to Rhythm Identity's spirit, she is quite well versed in bachata and one of the pioneer students of BachaZouk.
Cecilia
As one of the youngest addition to the salsa scene, Cecilia has proven herself capable and talented and has moved up the ranks from student to assistant instructor for Rhythm Identity to performer and to one of the partners for Salsa X's founder, Jaxen.
She is fondly known by locals as the Bachata Queen after her outstanding BachaZouk performance and from then on she has made bachata one of her main passion.
Cherry
Born, built and bred to be a dancer, Cherry has spent most of her time dancing and has in her credentials various dance experience. She can do Tap Dance, Latin, Modern just to name a few and salsa is her latest and newest addition to her roster of dance skill.
Due to her various dance experience, she was invited to be a part of Salsa X's performance team and since then she has never looked back. She is a dedicated performer and also a seasoned one, having performed various dance styles in various events around Malaysia.
Iftitah
Being quite new to the salsa scene, Ift; as he is fondly known as, has risen up from the ranks as one of Rhythm Identity's student to performer and finally as the assistant instructor to New Star Studio and now he is the dance partner of Salsa X's very own Jenni.
Once an avid sportsman, he has given up his sporting lifestyle and changed to a salsa lifestyle.
Jaxen
The founder of Salsa X Productions and also of Rhythm Identity Salsa and Bachata Dance Studio. Jaxen is Salsa X's main choreographer as well as lead performer. With 6 years of salsa experience and a few local championship titles under his belt, Jaxen has an aim to bring together salseros from various dance schools for a common cause; the advancement of salsa and bachata in Malaysia.
He is well known to be a very good lead on the dance floor and is famous for his own brand of bachata dance style which he coins as BachaZouk; a fusion of the Dominican and Puerto Rican bachata styles with Zouk and a little dash of Mexican Quebradita thrown into it. He bring a whole new level of fun and casualness to bachata and also a whole new level of sensuality.
His skills in bachata has made him the first Malaysian to be invited to perform at the Sydney Bachata Festival.
Jenni
Jenni is the founder of New Star Studio; specializing in salsa, rueda and tango. She has been dancing since childhood with a strong foundation in ballet. It was her strong knowledge in dance technique and form that made her one of Malaysia's most talented salseras. She is both graceful as well as fiery hot on the dance floor and is well known for her spins and her ability to perform lifts and tricks in salsa,
She is a seasoned performer, having performed in various locations throughout Malaysia as well as internationally. Throughout her salsa years she has garnered a few salsa championship titles such as being Malaysia's Salsa Amateur Champion and she is the only Malaysian salsera who was invited to compete at the prestigious Australian Salsa Classic; the entry point of the World Salsa Championship.
Joyce
Joyce is the founder of Rhythm Identity Salsa and Bachata Dance Studio branch in the Coast Region of Malaysia. She is based mainly in Kuantan and her classes stretches all the way to neighbouring state cities such as Kemaman.
She is Latin Ballroom trained and has knowledge in Belly Dancing. This only serves to strengthen her salsa dance skills better and she now conducts regular classes as well as workshops to cater to Malaysia's East Coast Region's salsa demands.
Joyce is also a seasoned performer, having graced both local and international stage and has travelled around out of Malaysia to expand her salsa knowledge.
Nick
A true fan of bachata, Nick has shown much potential whilst as a student and has been offered to join Salsa X's performer roster. He has performed for Salsa X numerous times and is always looking foward to the next performance.
He can be quite shy on the dance floor but his performance energy is without a doubt high and exciting!
Pin
The Man with the Million Dollar Smile. Pin is a salseros who never fails to smile no matter the situation and is always burstiing with energy. The man with a big heart, big smile and a big appetite is also a seasoned performer and competitor in the Malaysian salsa scene.
With his 4 years experience in salsa from DS Studio, he was invited by Salsa X Productions to be a part of the performance team. Pin accepted and his salsa journey is now taking him to a whole new level.
Shankar
Shankar was never expposed to salsa until he chanced upon an opportunity as a ground crew for the prestigious Malaysian Salsa Festival. Since then and after watching the performances of the various international performers, his salsa journey began.
He took up lesson at Rhythm Identity and soon worked his way up the skill ladder and was spotted by the founder of Salsa X. Shankar was invited to perform, though he had less than a year's experience, and he soon proved his worth through dedication and in having a natural talent.
